The Janda System of Evaluation and Treatment of Muscle Imbalance™ continuing education home study course presents postural techniques, neurology, and functional capabilities applied to alleviate chronic musculoskeletal pain and promote greater functionality. Developed by Vladimir Janda, in contrast to a more traditional structural view; the Janda approach is functional, emphasizing the importance of the sensorimotor system in controlling movement and chronic musculoskeletal pain syndromes from sports, occupational activities and daily living. This course offers practical, evidence-based application of Janda’s theories; with illustrations, photos, and step-by-step instructions; guiding exercise professionals in developing appropriate exercise prescription and training programs.
The Janda System of Evaluation and Treatment of Muscle Imbalance™ continuing education home study course is offered to you in a distance-learning format, providing evidence-based explanation of muscle imbalance. The step-by-step Janda system of evaluation is explained; including analysis of posture, balance, and gait; evaluation of movement patterns; and testing of muscle length; and assessment of the soft tissue. Treatment options for muscle imbalance through facilitation and inhibition techniques and sensorimotor training to restore neuromsucular function are addressed. Four case studies examining musculoskeletal conditions and showing how the Janda approach compares with other treatments are included.
Certified health and fitness professionals holding more than one certification may obtain CECs/CEUS for all approved certification organizations (see list above) for which they need continuing education at no additional cost.

While there are many more advanced concepts and terms in this course not dealt with in the exam I am not sure they are needed. However, I am able to write all 15 practice exams at 100%. Beyond that I understand and currently implement the teachings of this course, yet I was unable to pass my first attempt (77%). After restuding the guide and speed reading the entire text I acheived an 88% the second try. I feel that as some one who knows the base material WELL, 90% of the course terminology off by heart and as someone who is practicing its teachings that the examination had some questions that were a bit obscure (there is only brief mentioning of Panjabi's 3 subsytems and I fail to see the relevance of being able to cite him specifically for example) Anyhow, just my opinion for the betterment of your course.||ACE CEC page of all places as I was looking for NASM credits. I was searching for a course of this nature and can honestly say that I got more then I could have anticipated.
